Strategic Planning
Years of Experience in Planning Enhanced Facilities, Services, and Collections
Our strategic planning and long–range consulting have helped libraries create blueprints for providing library customers with enhanced facilities, services, collections and programs. Ivy Library's team of consultants utilizes well-established long–range planning methodologies. More importantly, as the planning process evolves, we have also been able to gain broad-based buy-in for the strategies formulated among the library's internal and external constituencies.
Research is Priority One!
Assessing the needs of a community, determining future space and program requirements, identifying gaps in technology, determining how your library is perceived and where opportunities lie—this is all vital information that underlies the best strategic planning.
Ivy Library consultants begin by recommending research strategies that will get the answers you need. We will conduct primary and secondary research, review background documents, conduct site visits, moderate focus groups, conduct telephone and mail surveys—and then write cogent, actionable plans.
Nuestros Investigadores Hablan Español…
Our researchers speak Spanish and other major languages and dialects. We have conducted focus groups and surveys using the languages native to participants and assisted libraries in planning services that reach out to previously underserved populations.
